Szilágyi Áron
Szilágyi Áron háromszoros olimpiai, világ- és Európa-bajnok magyar kardvívó. A Vasas SC versenyzője, a Vasas SC vívószakosztályának elnöke, a Nemzetközi Vívó Szövetség (FIE) sportolói bizottságának tagja, korábbi elnöke. Legutóbbi olimpiai aranyérmét 2021-ben Tokióban szerezte, emellett bronzérmet szerzett a férfi kardcsapattal. Mindkét eredménnyel történelmet írt a magyar kardvívásban.
Egyéniben kadét ezüstérmes csapatban aranyérmes 2006-ban. 2008-ban junior világbajnok csapatban 2009-ben egyéniben második, csapatban első. Felnőttként Londonban, Rióban, Tokióban nyert olimpiai aranyérmet, csapatban többszörös Európa bajnok, többszörös ezüstérmes.
Sikeres sportolói karrierje mellett több diplomával rendelkezik, nemzetközi tanulmányok és pszichológia szakon szerzett diplomát.
Fontosnak tartja a tehetséggondozást, több tehetségprogramban vesz részt társadalmi felelősségvállalás keretében. Pályája kezdetén a MOL tehetségprogramja támogatta, amelynek mára nagykövete és a kuratórium tagja lett. A Takarékpont edukációs nagykövete, 2020-ban a Stipendium Peregrinum ösztöndíjprogram instruktora.

A Tokiói Nyári Olimpiai Játékokra való felkészüléséről film készült „Egy mindenkiért” címmel, mely az első olyan sport-dokumentum film, mely egy olimpiai versenyző teljes felkészülési ciklusát végigköveti. A filmet hatalmas érdeklődés mellett vetítettek le 2021-ben az olimpiai versenyek előtt, azóta bemutatták televízióban és újra látható a mozik műsorán. Az IMDb-n, a világ legnagyobb filmes adatbázisában 8,3-mas értékeltést kapott a produkciót.
Sport sikerei és díjai mellett Áront tudatosságáért, elkötelezettségért, lojalitásáért és hitelességéért nem csak Magyarországon, hanem szerte a világon tisztelik, számos fiatal sportoló, tehetség példaképe. A Nemzeti Tehetség Központ büszke rá, hogy együtt dolgozhatott vele a Stipendium Peregrinum Ösztöndíjprogramban.
Áron Szilágyi is a three-time Olympic Champion, World Champion and European Champion sabre fencer. He is the head of the Fencing Department of his team, Vasas SC and a member of the International Fencing Federation’s Commission of Athletes, of which he used to be president. His most recent medals are an individual Olympic gold and a team Olympic bronze from Tokyo, both of which are unequalled successes of Hungarian fencing. His achievements include an individual silver medal as a cadet and team gold medal in 2006, junior world champion title in 2008, and an individual silver and team gold medal in 2009. As an adult he won Olympic gold medals in London, Rio and Tokyo, several team European Champion titles and silver medals. Besides his success as a sportsman, he has several degrees, such as international relations and psychology from Eötvös Loránd University. Since he believes in the importance of talent care, he participates in several programmes as an act of social responsibility. As a young talent, he benefited from the programme of MOL (Hungarian Oil and Gas PLC.) of which he became an ambassador and curator by now. He is also the educational ambassador of Takarékpont and the instructor of the Stipendium Peregrinum in 2020.

During his Preparation for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, a documentary film titled Egy mindenkiért (All for One) was shot, which is the first ever sports-documentary that follows a sportsperson’s entire preparation path to the Olympic Games. The movie premiered before the Olympics in 2021 and also premiered on TV and in cinemas, its IMDb rating is 8.3. In addition, he is a well-respected, loyal, entitled and self-conscious real-life hero for many around the world and it is an honour for the National Talent Center that he is an instructor in the Stipendium Peregrinum Scholarship.
