Prof. dr. Albert Ziegler
Prof. Dr. Albert Ziegler német pszichológus, az Erlangen-Nürnbergi Friedrich-Alexander Egyetem Oktatáspszichológiai és Kiválóságkutatási Tanszékének vezetője.
Ziegler az International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (Nemzetközi Tehetségfejlesztési és Kiválósági Kutatási Szövetség – IRATDE) főtitkára, az ECHA (European Council for High Ability) alelnöke, az ETSN (European Talent Support Network) korábbi elnöke.
Ziegler munkássága elsősorban a tehetséges gyerekek oktatására és a tehetségfejlesztésre irányul. Több mint 400 – az oktatáspszichológiával foglalkozó – cikket, fejezetet és könyvet jegyez. Több olyan projekt kezdeményezője és megvalósítója volt, melyek célja az európai tehetségoktatás fejlesztése a kutatási eredmények fényében. A transznacionális HOT-M projekt célja például az alulteljesítés megelőzése. Prof. Heidrun Stoegerrel együtt a CyberMentor, egy tehetséges lányoknak szóló online mentoringprogram társalapítója és vezetője. 2002 és 2007 között Albert Ziegler volt az ECHA tudományos folyóirata, a High Ability Studies főszerkesztője.
Albert Ziegler, PhD is a German psychologist and the Chair Professor for Educational Psychology and Research on Excellence at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen Nürnberg.
He is the Secretary-General of the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE); the Vice President of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA); and Chairman of the European Talent Support Network (ETSN).
Ziegler’s work is predominantly concerned with gifted education and talent development. To date, he has published over 400 articles, chapters, and books in the field of educational psychology. He has initiated and brought to fruition several projects aimed at advancing European gifted education in light of research findings. For example, the transnational project HOT-M aims at preventing underachievement. Together with Prof. Heidrun Stoeger, he is co-founder and head of CyberMentor, an on-line mentoring program for gifted girls. Albert Ziegler was the Editor-in-Chief of High Ability Studies, ECHA’s scholarly journal between 2002 and 2007, and he works in the same position since 2015.
